One to One Brings a Human-Centric Approach to Internet World 2011

It was a busy week for One to One at Internet World, the UK’s largest exhibition for digital marketing and online business. Over 12,000 visitors attended the show over three days and many descended on the One to One booth to discuss social media strategy, customer experience research and human centric marketing.  Thanks to Lotus Cars, BBC, British Gas, EMAP, Dell, HSBC and Louis Vuitton (just to name a few) for stopping by!

There was a great line-up of speakers this year with seminars from the likes of Facebook, Google, Ebay and Amazon.  Our very own – CEO, Ian Karnell delivered a talk on the Principles of Human-Centric Marketing to a packed theatre, enlightening the crowd to recognize the wave of change and embrace this new marketing paradigm.   The message was hit home when Ian cited a recent American Apparel advert that led with the tagline ‘f*ck the brands that f*ck the people.’
